Youth Mentoring Intiatives

2023 - 65 Yard Challenge

NOTE: Challenge is Closed

Our 2023 65 Yard Challenge is a youth mentoring initiative that gives back to our communities. A select group of youth are provided with all the tools and expertise needed to go out and help elders and people in need with one-time basic yard maintenance.

Youth participating in the 65 yard challenge will not only learn valuable skills, and create new friendships. Once all 65 yards are completed, the youth who helped reach our goal will be treated to a 2 night trip to Regina to watch a Saskatchewan Roughriders game in August.

Our youth mentoring program offers limited yard services to those most in need of them, at no cost. Our goal is to provide our male youth with the opportunity to do something positive for their community as they learn skills to benefit them in the work force.

Services Offered

Lawn Mowing

Basic lawn mowing for yards of all sizes

Lawn Fertilization

Basic lawn fertilization upon completion for future lawn growth

Hedge Pruning/Trimming

Basic hedge pruning and trimming of overgrown hedges

Garbage Removal

Removal of garbage in yards into waste bags. Not including disposal.
